Tomato and Oregano Chicken

Greek village like the village of Kominitsa where Grandpa Morris was from.
This is an authentic recipe from Great Grandma Morris.
3 lb. chicken
1/2 c. oregano
salt, pepper, accent
1 small can tomato sauce
1 cube butter
Melt butter in fry pan. Line with chicken. Sprinkle with seasonings. Brown chicken on all sides. Put chicken in a 9 x 13 pan. Add tomato sauce to fry pan and add 1/4 c. water. Bring to a boil. Pour over chicken. Broil for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and cover with foil. Bake for 45 minutes.
