Ham Loaf


This was an Easter tradition. You can halve the recipe.
From: Grandma Gabe
Mix together:
4 lbs. ground turkey
3 lbs. ground ham
6 eggs, beaten
2 c. cracker crumbs
2 T. prepared mustard
3 c. milk
Basting sauce
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 c. water
4 T. prepared mustard
Mix loaf ingredients together and shape into two large loaves. Place in open rast pan and pour basting sauce over it. Cook in moderately hot oven 350 for 2 hrs. Baste several times during baking.
